Erin Heinz

Erin is a post-doctoral researcher. Her interests include environmental justice, sustainable development, voluntary regulation and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Her Master's thesis analyzed fertility choices in a context of reproductive injustice in central Uganda. She has presented her work at the ASA in 2017 and 2019 and was invited to present on a panel on transnational reproductive rights at the National Women's Studies Association in 2019 for her contribution to Reproductive Justice and Sexual Rights (Ed. T. Bakhru 2019). Erin is interested in questions of pedagogy, in particular how to improve collaborative learning in the online environment. She completed her Certification of College Teaching in 2017 and has gained departmental recognition for her excellence in undergraduate instruction. She is currently working on dissertation research on urban sustainable development in the American Southwest.
