Amelia Blume

About Amelia Blume

Amelia is a doctoral student in the School of Sociology. Broadly, her research interests include gender, emotions, culture, religion, organizations, and qualitative methodology. She received her M.A. in Sociology from the University of Memphis (2014) and B.A. in Sociology from the University of Montana (2010). Her masters thesis drew from ethnographic data and examined gendered role performances and impression and emotion management in a patriarchal communal New Religious Movement.
