Research Interests

Christina Diaz is a demographer whose research interests lie at the intersection of social stratification, Latin American migration, and family formation. Christina is particularly interested in immigrant health, patterns of assimilation among native and foreign-born populations, as well as the growing complexity of families and households. She has received awards for her scholarship from the American Sociological Association, the Population Association of America, and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.
