About Madison Armstrong
Madison is a second year Ph.D. student in sociology. Her areas of interest include sex & gender, sexuality, race & ethnicity, and law & society, particularly as they relate to gun culture and violence in the United States and internationally. Her ongoing research examines media coverage of mass shooters and the links drawn or ignored by media between mass shootings and white supremacist and misogynist ideologies.
She recieved her B.S. in Political Science from Appalachian State University in 2017.
