About Peter Ore
Peter is a second-year PhD student in sociology. Among other things, he is currently mapping the field of right-wing ideological production, tinkering with models of the political determinants of air quality monitoring, and wandering around Tucson talking to people about how they're living under late capitalism.
He reads a lot of books and articles in environmental, economic and political sociology, comparative history, ethnography, and social theory. He enjoys teaching theory, methods (broadly defined), and statistics.
Peter earned his MA at the University of Montana in 2015 and was an adjunct instructor in Classical Sociological Theory there for the 2015/2016 academic year. He also worked as a writing tutor for faculty, graduates, and undergraduates. When he wasn't doing those things, he would try to ski or run in the mountains.
