    Jane Zavisca has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Confluence Center for Creative Inquiry to support research and a symposium on "The Culture of Homeownership in Crisis."

    Professor Joe Galaskiewicz has been awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation for his research on non-profit organizations and recession. The $143,000 grant will support research on the impact of the 'Great Recession' on the exodus and closure of nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies in Phoenix-Mesa neighborhoods and the surrounding suburbs.
