We're excited to host a multi-day workshop featuring Dr. Taylor Winfield and two visiting scholars, Dr. Prudence Carter and Dr. Iddo Tavory, as they discuss her upcoming book, Uniformed Bodies: How the Illusion of Standardization Reproduces Inequality, and the academic publishing process. Over three days, you'll have the opportunity to witness peer feedback on a manuscript in development, learn from established scholars about research and career trajectories, and gain insights into the academic publishing process from a university press editor.

Join Dr. Taylor Winfield in conversation with her mentors, Dr. Iddo Tavory (NYU) and Dr. Prudence Carter (Brown University), as they provide feedback on her upcoming manuscript, Uniformed Bodies: How the Illusion of Standardization Reproduces Inequality. Moderated by Dr. Dan Menchik.
Uniformed Bodies challenges the long-standing assumption that standardization is the hallmark of efficiency and equality in modern organizations, showing instead how the illusion of standardization undermines organizational and individual outcomes.
