Nadina L. Anderson, third year doctoral candidate, recently received the Social Science Research Council's Eurasia Program Pre-Dissertation Fellowship for her work, "Trust and Civil Society in Ukraine: Discovering Migration Mechanisms." The fellowship provides a $3,000 monetary award.

Jane Zavisca, Associate Professor of Sociology, has been awarded a grant from the Minerva Research Initiative for a study entitled, "Homeownership and Societal Stability: Testing Causal Effects in Central Eurasia."
