Anna Marlatt
Social Sciences, 412
Anna is a Ph.D. student in sociology with a focus on medical sociology. She is interested in understanding medical sociology at the organizational level, questioning physician resistance to change and authority in hospitals.
She enjoys qualitatively approaching these questions and is interested in interview research and ethnography. Anna believes this route to information-gathering started when she worked as an opinion columnist for the Daily Texan.
Anna earned her B.A. in Government and Plan I Honors at the University of Texas in 2022. During her 2021/2022 academic year, she served as a teaching assistant in a research methods and design course. She enjoys taking F45 classes, baking, and playing video games in her free time.
