Pauline is a Ph.D. student at the University of Arizona School of Sociology. Pauline's research interests are centered around the queer experience, specifically as it relates to gender identity and intimacy. Specifically, her research explores how queer individuals navigate their queerness and self-identity.

Pauline graduated from Fordham University in New York City with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and English, and her past research centered around intimacy in queer relationships as it relates to gender identity influenced by heteronormativity.

Outside of academics, Pauline enjoys running and CrossFit and is slowly chipping away at her goal of trying every coffee shop in Tucson.
