Sukhoon's research interests include the sociology of knowledge, science, and technology, and computational social science. His research examines the relationship between open science and global inequality in knowledge production. Sukhoon has a strong background in computational methods as well as ample experience in survey design and data curation.
Sukhoon earned his B.A. in Sociology and Business Administration from Pusan National University and his M.A. in Sociology from Seoul National University.
