Wenyi Gong is a Sociology PhD student at the University of Arizona. Her current research centers on labor, aging, and health, employing quantitative methods and developing expertise in computational social science. Her prior work spans global aging, with a particular focus on social participation (including labor, intergenerational transfers, reciprocal exchange, and time banking) and well-being (mental health and daily functioning). Wenyi holds an interdisciplinary background, with a B.A. in Management and an M.A. in Population Economics from Peking University.
