Congratulations, Dong Joon!

We are pleased to announce that Dong Joon Park successfully defended their dissertation and completed all requirements for the PhD in Sociology on April 9th, 2026. Their dissertation, titled "The Rise of Interdisciplinary Research in U.S. Higher Education: Organizational Contexts and Career Outcomes," examines how interdisciplinary research programs have evolved within American universities and explores the ways in which organizational structures shape the career trajectories of researchers engaged in cross-disciplinary work.
