Congratulations, Jennifer!

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Lee successfully defended their dissertation and completed all requirements for the PhD in Sociology on May 4th, 2026. Their dissertation, titled "Mapping Women’s Work and Family Trajectories across Race and Ethnicity," examines how women's work and family life course trajectories vary across racial and ethnic groups, exploring the social and structural factors that shape these patterns over time. This important research advances our understanding of inequality, work and family dynamics, and the ways race, ethnicity, and gender intersect to influence life trajectories in the United States.
