Dong Joon’s research explores the connection between education and the workplace. He investigates how changes in education influence graduates' careers. His current work focuses on the educational experiences of doctoral graduates and their career outcomes.
Dong Joon has gained valuable experience as a research assistant for Professors Erin Leahey and Jane Zavisca. In their project, which examines universities' commitment to and faculty attitudes toward intellectual property, he has compiled data from various institutions for case selection.
He received his B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Korea University and also earned a Certificate in Computational Social Science from the University of Arizona.
