I received my B.A. in Sociology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and my M.A. in Sociology from the University of Houston. I use quantitative methods in my research which broadly focuses on immigration, community involvement, and ethnic identification, with specific interests in how features of community influence intergenerational mobility in immigrant populations across various outcomes. Additionally, I am also interested in how segregation patterns health outcomes for racial and ethnic minorities. Outside of research, I enjoy video games, cooking, the outdoors, and watching the Houston Rockets disappoint me in the playoffs.
