Jonathan's interests include organizational analysis, political sociology as well as economic sociology. He is interested in the role of nonprofit organizations (NPOs), in relation to the state and private business, in advancing social goals. Specifically, he is interested in the collaborative efforts between the state and the NPO sector in advancing access to higher-education.
He holds a MA in Sociology from Stony Brook University and a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to his graduate studies, Jonathan worked for the mutual fund, Capital Group, for three years as a Senior Investment Operations Associate.
