Congratulations, Mariana!

We are thrilled to announce that Mariana Manriquez has successfully defended her dissertation and completed all requirements for the PhD in Sociology. Her dissertation, titled "Delivered: Working and Living with Algorithms in Mexico City," explores the impacts of algorithmic technologies on labor and daily life in urban Mexico.

Mariana’s committee included Dr. Jeff Sallaz, Dr. Joe Galaskiewicz, and Dr. Dan Martinez. Her defense took place on April 7, 2025.
