Congratulations, Dylan!

We are pleased to announce that Dylan Simburger has successfully defended their dissertation and completed all requirements for the PhD in Sociology.

Their dissertation, titled "Racial/Ethnic Intermarriage, Online Dating, and Interracial Relationships with a White Spouse Among Black, Asian, and Hispanic Americans," examines the intersections of race, technology, and relationships in contemporary society.

Dylan’s defense took place on April 11, 2025. Their dissertation committee included Dr. Dan Martinez (Chair), Dr. Corey Abramson, Dr. Diego Leal, and Dr. Ricardo Martinez-Schuldt.
