Victoria is a second year PhD student in Sociology at the University of Arizona. Her areas of interest include stratification/inequality, urban sociology, and criminology. She is particularly interested in the causes and consequences of gentrification. Her ongoing research investigates stop-and-frisk policing in gentrifying neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
