Andrew P. Davis and Michael Gibson-Light win Paper Award

PhD candidates Andrew Davis and Michael Gibson-Light were recognized for their paper entitled "Incarceration as Ethno-Political Resource: The Role of Colonial Legacy and Ethnic Political Exclusion in Cross-National Incarceration Rates" with the first place graduate student paper award from the Division of International Criminology of the American Society of Criminology (ASC). The award will be presented at the annual ASC meeting in November. The School of Sociology congratulates Andrew and Michael for this outstanding achievement.
