School of Sociology SBS Award Winners: Hannah Andrews and Rocina Garcia

Congratulations to Sociology undergraduate student Rocina Garcia and Sociology graduate student Hannah Andrews for winning a Social and Behavioral Sciences Award for the Spring 2021 semester. 

Rocina Garcia was awarded the Spring 2021 SBS Tenacity Award. This award recognizes a graduating senior who has persevered in the face of significant adverse circumstances to earn a degree. 

Hannah Andrews was awarded the Spring 2021 SBS Outstanding GTA Award. This award acknowledges the teaching contribution of our under-recognized GTAs and serves to inform the larger community about GTAs’ invaluable contributions to the School of Sociology’s instructional mission.
