Jennifer Earl, Professor of Sociology, has been awarded a sub-contract on a MacArthur Foundation grant, for the "Youth Activism Project." This project is part of the MacArthur Network on Youth and Participatory Politics. The sub-contract runs from 2013 to 2016 and is for $379,500.

Nadina L. Anderson, third year doctoral candidate, recently received the Social Science Research Council's Eurasia Program Pre-Dissertation Fellowship for her work, "Trust and Civil Society in Ukraine: Discovering Migration Mechanisms." The fellowship provides a $3,000 monetary award.
